Overview

Ilm Essentials is a two-year foundational certificate in Islaamic studies. This program aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills to become effective role models and contribute to the betterment of society.

The courses program under the Youth Club was introduced as an essential tool to fulfil the vision and mission requirements of the organisation. It is intended to create individuals who are not only aware of the current affairs of the world but have keen insight and possess the power to express themselves through the written word as well as emanate a level of vocal eloquence so that they can defend their Religion at a personal level.

  • ⁠ ⁠Acquire primary-level proficiency in Quraanic Arabic pronunciation and meaning.
  • ⁠ ⁠Learn the practical rulings of Islaamic Jurisprudence.
  • Learn the correct pronunciation and articulation of the Quraanic text
  • Understand the importance, preservation, and practical application of Hadeeth.
  • Grasp the fundamental principles behind Islaamic legal rulings and inheritance distribution.
  • Gain tools to critically engage with modern narratives and confidently represent Islaam in today’s world.

Eligibility

To enroll in the Ilm Essentials course, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Completed Matriculation or O-Levels.
  • Age Range of 16 to 28 years.
  • Proficiency in both English and Urdu.

How to Apply

  • Complete and submit the application form.
  • You will receive a confirmation email and will be contacted by a member of our registration team.
  • Your interview date and time will be scheduled.
  • During the interview, our instructors will assess your suitability for the program.
  • You will be notified of your selection status via email within three working days of your interview.

Degree Criteria

To be awarded the Ilm Essentials certificate, students must have
  • Maintain a CGPA of at least 2.5 throughout the course.
  • Submit a post-course survey as part of the program’s evaluation process.
  • Pass courses totalling at least 32 credit hours.
